Lo Pagán is the beach area of the large coastal town of San Pedro Del Pinatar and one of the best beach resorts in the area. Located at the northern tip of the Mar Menor where it meets the Mediterranean. It is a busy area as not only do people live and spend their holidays here in the summer, but also in winter and the rest of the year there is a lot of social activity and tourist movement.
Lo Pagán has a pleasant beach side walk called “Paseo de Lo Pagán”, which starts at the well known “Fair of Lo Pagán” that remains open during the summer months offering many popular fair activities such as bumper cars and candyfloss stalls, followed by “La Curva” that has many bars and restaurants along the promenade and finally the promenade continues into the next town Santiago de la Ribera.
Between the fair and the “Curva”, the Port of Lo Pagán can be spotted from the promenade with its luxurious sail boats and yachts. The port also has a popular seafood restaurant and cocktail bar on the upper floor with spectacular views of the Mediterranean coastline. Another popular tourist location is the famous “Molino de Lo Pagán“, a giant white windmill that can be seen from miles away.
